The dining area’s West Elm table seats up to eight, with two additional chairs located in the hall closet for extra seating. The tall counter stools along the granite bar are perfect for overflow dining or as a laptop station over morning coffee.

 The Cozy Bear Den is the perfect refuge from the bright lights of the city, and now Sunriver has the accolades to prove it, as Oregon’s first official Dark Sky Place. Celebrate the night sky under the stars on the deck, or in the hot tub, with its size as impressive as the celestial show above.

Bedroom #1, located on the first floor, welcomes guests with knotty-pine coziness, a King-sized bed, access to the full bath across the hall, and a private entry option to the front porch. 

Upstairs, bedroom #2’s King-sized bed offers nightly star-viewing through vaulted ceiling windows, or Netflix binging on the flat screen TV. The Mosier plaid of the Pendleton quilt pays homage to a favorite Columbia River Gorge road riding/beer-stop destination. 

The large, lofted space of the bunk room features a full-sized bunkbed + twin trundle, as well as a TV area with beanbags for front-row movie-viewing or Nintendo NES video game play. A library of books and DVDs, across ages and genres, is ready and waiting to settle into. The bunk room's alcove desk is the perfect place to log on, distance learn, charge devices, or disconnect by plotting the day ahead. 

Two full bathrooms, one on each floor, both feature original fire-glazed ceramic tile in the shower, and updated slate flooring and countertops. The 2nd floor bathroom offers Jack & Jill access from the bunk room. 

So Fresh & So Clean Clean

With Central Oregon as your playground, the garage is equipped to make the most of it. For those bringing your own road, gravel, or mountain bike, skis or snowboard, a workbench is outfitted with tools to make any needed adjustments, and a 4-pair boot warmer will prep you for consecutive days playing in the snow or on nearby Mt. Bachelor. (Note: the MTB's and road bike are not included with rental.) 

Equipped for very young adventurers too! The Cozy Bear Den features a new Pack 'n Play, a high chair, toddler dishes, night lights, board books, toys, and a vaporizer humidifier.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Cozy Bear Den. (No cats please, due to the owners' allergies.) There's a dog bed in the living room, food & water bowls in the kitchen, and a yard leash/tie-out with multiple hooks on the deck, so Max, Bella, Lucy or Charlie can hang outside without going after the deer and squirrels. 

Located between circles 11 and 4, you cannot get more central in Sunriver than The Cozy Bear Den. It's around the corner from Fort Rock Park, with its large grass area, playground, tennis, pickleball & sand volleyball courts. SHARC, the Deschutes River, and Sunriver Village are a short bike ride away.
