Just south of the Sunriver resort, right at the entrance of the business park, is The Mountain Jug bottle shop. Perfect for a post-adventure beer and to grab a 6-pack of some local breweries. No food, no minors.
Right off Drake park, overlooking the Mirror Pond, the Commons Cafe is the perfect stop for a coffee, beer, paired with fresh local baked goods and small snacks. There are often concerts or other events as well.
This local roaster has multiple locations in Bend, and their beans can be bought at several grocery stores in the area (and beyond). Grab a bag of Peloton, and enjoy it on the Cozy Bear Den deck.
Just a short bike ride away in the Village, is the Sunriver Brewing Pub. It can get busy, but it's a great little hideaway outside of peak hours. Chicken wings with an IPA anyone?
Bend is known for its many breweries/pubs. Each of them have their own unique quality. Next to their pilsner, we love the outdoor space of Crux. A large lawn overlooking town and the mountains with food carts and often, live music.
Mmmmh, carbs.... amazing breads, cookies and other doughie goodness. Did we mention the sandwiches? Sparrow Bakery has it all.
The northern Thai restaurant Wild Rose is truly amazing. Dine-in or take-out, you can't go wrong with their Khao Soi Curry.
When you are done strolling through Sisters, or coming back from the Dee Wright Observatory, Three Creeks is a great spot in between the ponderosa trees to enjoy a hearty brewpub meal.
One more brewpub; because why not? It is oregon after all. With its great beers, good food and friendly staff, Immersion Brewing has become a family staple to visit on our way back to the den from Bend. Perfectly situated between the river and hwy-97 and has ample parking.
